1. Greeting Locals
- A warm smile and a gentle “Good Morning” or “Thank you” are always appreciated by locals. Bowing slightly is also a respectful gesture.
2. Mind the Noise
- Many areas are peaceful residential zones, so we kindly ask you to keep noise to a minimum in the early mornings and late evenings.
3. Plastic-Free Efforts
- Sunshine is making great strides in reducing plastic waste. Whenever possible, carry a reusable bag and water bottle, and say “no” to single-use plastics.
4. Tipping
- Tipping isn’t required but is appreciated for good service, especially in restaurants and for drivers. A small tip of around 10% is common and will be warmly received.
